Sweet Thang is about an African American teenager named Charmaine Upshaw, in the mid 1970's. Her auntie just died and her family has to take care of her aunties son. When Tracy John, the son, grows up into first grade, he is a total nightmare to Charmaine. Not only that but Dinah, Charmaine's enemy is making it rough for her in 9th grade. And her crush Demetrius, is forcing her to do his own homework. Anyway, she would do anything for him. This book is by Allison Whittenberg. I recommend to people who has an annoying little brother and everyone.
